The Story

After living on a 17 acre hobbie farm my whole life, my family move to a small 1.5 acre propety in town.When we moved we took with us 5 goats, 1 sheep, 3 cats, 12 dogs, 20 chicken, 30 chicks, 5 budgies, 1 rabbit, and 1 lizard.So this is the ongoing story of having a small farm in town.


The Author

If she not reading a book or researching her latest animal interest, Estella Kate can be found talking to her budgies and chicken, playing with her goat, or drawing pictures of horses, dragons, and other animals.

Here's a post all about chickens. Facts about chickens. Chickens are seperateed into two groups Soft Feather and Hard Feather. The largest chicken breed is the Brahma. The smallest chicken breed is the Malaysian Serama bantam. Chicken eggs can be any colour from dark brown to white to blue/green.  Silkies have an extra toe on each foot. Facts about my chicken obsession. My favourite chickens are Silkies, Brahmas, Frizzles, and Japanese bantams. I have two roosters named Hulk and Thor. I have met six rooster who would attack me. Due to the above fact I don't like roosters who look like this.
